The Pasadena Bar Association assists its Members to develop and improve their practice of law by providing information, services, networking, career development programs and other resources. Since its founding in 1917, the PBA has vigorously pursued its stated purpose "to advance the science of jurisprudence, to promote the administration of justice, to encourage a thorough legal education, and to maintain the honor and dignity of the profession of law." Membership categories include: Active member, Barristers, New Admittee (first year to State Bar of California), Judicial Officer, Retired/Inactive, Affiliate member (non-attorney) and Student member.
